Vintage Faucet
Ok so you can buy all kinds of faucets for your Vintage Claw foot tub. So many styles based on what you like. Go with a time piece or a more modern style. Ok, then they tell you to measure the openings of your tub. Center of one hole to the center of the other in the case of tub faucets. Sorry the first pic is upside down.
But it is a 7" center. Almost every single tub mount faucet is 3 3/8" so yeah that isn't going to reach now is it... but in the last photo is what brings it all home. They my fellow DIY gooroo's is called Swing Arms, Swing arm adapters, Swing arm couplers, Swing arm connectors. So many names but what they do is connect your 7" holes to the 3 3/8" faucet with swinging arms that adjust to the exact measurements. Heck yeah that is way cool. Just make sure they match your faucet... ok?
